    ... and if you haven't you should have. The real problem with the emblem (BMC Biology, 'What's wrong with this picture?') is the dramatic over-representation of a mere subphylum of rather low overall diversity (however you might measure it). In terms of deep homology in particular, when you've seen one vertebrate, you've seen them all. The turtle issue is a remarkably minute tempest in a microscopic teacup when you consider the rancor over placement of entire phyla among the ecdysozoans, deuterostomes, and company.
