Homogenates of nub1mutants contain a reduced number of platable bacteria. (A) Homogenates of dissected nub1 guts, spread out on standard lysogeny broth agar plates, contain a significantly reduced number of platable colony forming units compared to diluted homogenates from guts of OrR controls.
