The vertical dotted line indicates the data are from two separate experiments—the first ‘short-term’ experiment used 2-, 4- and 8-h exposure times, and a second ‘long-term’ experiment used 24-, 48- and 72-h timepoints. Fecundity was measured as the number of eggs laid in the 24-h period following mating.
